The Account Manager serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction, account retention, and revenue growth of the portfolio. The Account Manager is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, connect the Kastle value proposition to the client’s experience, and communicate the client’s needs, goals and expectations to others at Kastle to ensure an efficient, effective, and less intrusive experience for the customer. In addition, the Account Manager will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the relationship with the customer, including all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables to ensure retention of accounts.
  • Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, escalating serious issues to the Client Services Director and the Regional General Manager, as needed.
  • Work closely with the Operations team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of installation projects, timelines, and potential issues and/or opportunities on each project.
  • Communicate the client's goals and advocate for the client to the Kastle team.
  • Provide training to client staff on all client-facing systems.
  • Navigate multiple software systems to locate information and troubleshoot problems.
  • Understand company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
  • Pursue opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Sales and Client Services teams.
  • Deliver growth of the portfolio in a manner consistent with corporate directives and quarterly goals.
  • Report to the Manager of Client Services, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports as required.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications

  • Able to prioritize tasks; organized, can execute under minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented; excellent manager of time and schedule
  • Proven relationship builder both inside an organization and externally with customers and stakeholders.
  • Professional, polished appearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technically competent, to include software, hardware (including basic IP networks)
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Excel
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent in solving problems
  • Manages stressful situations, deadlines, and expectations
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
  • Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements for security.
  • Must be able to meet client background and suitability screening when required to access client’s data and/or site.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and at least 18 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly perferred.
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) and accounting systems is preferred
