The primary objective of the Business Development Manager, Multifamily is to sell comprehensive security systems and services to the Kastle’s clients: local building owners, managers, home owner's associations, and developers.

To be successful, the Business Development Manager must be cognizant of the dynamics within the market served and understand the client’s security requirements. The Business Development Manager instills in the client a clear understanding of the Kastle’s value proposition and offer systems and services to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the Multifamily commercial market having demonstrated prior business relationships
  • Identify and cultivate long-term business relationships with Multifamily building owners, managers, tenants,  home owner's associations, and developers.
  • Develop and plan account strategies that provide the greatest opportunity to make sales.
  • Design security systems that meet the client’s needs.
  • Write proposals, conduct presentations, and demonstrate Company’s systems, services and value proposition.
  • Generate sales that meet or exceed established goals
  • Maintains an ongoing sales journal that accurately summarizes the status of outstanding proposals.
  • Participates in scheduled sales meetings.
  • Amplifies collective sales opportunities by introducing decision-makers and key client contacts to colleagues and managers.
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes, and communicates competitive sales strategies.
  • Participates in key industry associations and events to increase awareness of the Kastle ’s brand and favorably position the Kastle to targeted clients within the community.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative, teamwork, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 6 years sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated outstanding sales skills to Multi Family commercial clients at the executive level.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Multi Family commercial real estate market or Multi Family commercial construction a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing sales of complex systems or services with protracted sales cycles
  • Experience with sales force automation systems such as Dynamics AX is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little direct supervision.
