Kastle System’s Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to help architect and drive an integrated growth strategy for the company.  Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CMO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing efforts for the entire organization to include: lead generation, market research, pricing, marketing communications, advertising, and public relations. Critical measures of performance and success include new customer acquisition, existing customer retention and satisfaction, and cross-selling/up-selling additional Kastle solutions to existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and effectively executes a multi-year marketing and communications strategy and roadmap to grow revenue across all global business activities
  • Continues to develop the Kastle brand to enhance the brand positioning and value proposition for all key stakeholders including customers, employees, and internal and external talent markets
  • Develops and facilitates organized cross-marketing/servicing efforts among the company’s leaders in Kastle’s geographic regions
  • Oversees all marketing communications including web content, press releases, newsletters, marketing collateral, advertising, digital and social marketing, and articles
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape, and disseminates the information to Business Unit leaders
  • Identify opportunities for Kastle to be an influencer on security and product innovation
  • Works with product management to identify content needs and opportunities associated with new product rollouts to ensure consistency in messaging with the overall Kastle brand
  • Develops deep data-driven insights about customer needs and behaviors to fuel innovation, and to identify strategic initiatives that will drive sales, growth, and profitability
  • Manages all marketing systems, including lead generation, management processes and metrics, campaign tracking, marketing automation systems, database management, targeting, and segmentation plans
  • Establishes performance goals for marketing and oversees ongoing measurement protocols to evaluate and optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Builds, develops, and inspires a marketing team that possesses critical skills and talents, including digital capabilities, data driven mind-set, and creativity
  • Forges strong working relationships with C-suite, head of sales, COO, CTO, General Managers, and others to ensure a consistent and excellent customer experience
  • Understands the customer journey from acquisition through retention, and bring the voice of the customer to the organization

Qualifications

  • 15+ years marketing experience, including at least 10 in a leadership capacity
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus
  • Strong comfort in an entrepreneurial setting with a proven track record of balancing long-term strategy & vision with day-to-day blocking & tackling
  • Intellectual horsepower
  • Experience in executing social media campaigns, digital marketing, direct marketing, advertising, and public relations
  • Strong data-analytics capabilities in marketing
  • Forward-thinking, strategic mind-set
  • Experience working in technology driven companies and/or sales organizations
