Urban Alarm, a Kastle-owned company, seeks a key individual to lead Urban Alarm’s Community Patrol Account Management and Sales. Urban Alarm is a leading DC-based security provider with customers in the commercial, institutional, property management, and high-end residential space.

The Community Patrol Coordinator is the primary point of contact for Mobile Guard Patrol customers and prospects. Working closely with the Urban Alarm team, customer patrol communities and area police departments to coordinate patrol related communications and customer meetings.


Urban Alarm Community Patrols operates in Patrol Member neighborhoods and business districts. The Community Patrol Coordinator is responsible for existing member communication and sales and marketing efforts to grow the member base. Working closely with other members of the Urban Alarm leadership team you will attend community security meetings, collaborate on community print and email newsletters, and meet with prospective customers.


  • Monitor patrol email accounts and coordinate response to customer requests
  • Collaborate on periodic email and print communications with Patrol Members
  • Email Patrol Members community activity alerts and other ad-hoc email updates
  • Meet with Patrol Members to reinforce relationships and bring feedback to the team to improve services
  • Identify prospective patrol members and convel the value of Urban Alarm services expanding the customer / membership base
  • Collaborate with Urban Alarm account managers in the roll out of electronic security service to patrol communities and vise versa
  • Monitor crime statistics and prepare reports around activity to internal and customer audiences
  • Develop and implement patrol member retention initiatives
  • Initiate and remain in contact with local police, secret service, and other law enforcement offices regarding patrol activity


  • Bachelor’s Degree in communication, marketing, public relations, and/or criminal justice
  • 3 or more years successful experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Strong critical thinking skills: able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Excellent professional presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish those goals
  • Demonstrated exceptional speaking and active listening skills, conveying information effectively and giving full attention and taking time to understand what others are saying
  • Ability to cooperate, being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, supportive attitude
  • Ability to come up with relevant and creative ideas, analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution
  • Demonstrated self composure, adaptability, persistence, a high tolerance for stress and unquestionable integrity
  • Ability to effectively use Google Suite Docs, Sheets, and other cloud based tools to facilitate business processes
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements for security, as well as client background and suitability screening when required to access client’s data and/or site.
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and/or nights when required
