Kastle Systems seeks a marketing professional with 10+ years of solid experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-starter who has a track-record and passion for driving revenue contemporary integrated marketing programs. The ideal candidate is highly skilled and proficient in all aspects of marketing. The successful candidate is a nimble, pragmatic, and a creative problem-solver. They will work as a strategic member of a dynamic team and have wide latitude to drive programs and success.

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for helping create and bring to life the marketing strategy across Kastle Systems and its family of security brands including Kastle, Urban Alarm and Mutual Security.  The goals of the marketing department are to drive revenue through integrated, well-conceived campaigns.  The mix includes lead-generating digital marketing (email, web, social), events and sponsorships, partnerships, and public relations.  The position and team enable the sales organization with ongoing content and selling tool, targeting recommendations, training, and communications; and ensure the consistency of the brand across all the business units.

The Director of Marketing will perform various marketing duties in support of brand marketing, product marketing, event marketing, and digital marketing. They will organize, manage, and attend trade shows and industry-related events as a representative of the organization. They will be involved in editing, writing, and producing marketing materials and assets. They will plan sales conferences and customer appreciation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the development of the overall marketing strategy/plan across Kastle Systems and its family of security brands including Urban Alarm, Mutual Security and Stat Land Security.
  • Manages & participates in the execution of the marketing strategy to accomplish department goals:
    • Driving revenue through a combination of lead-generating digital marketing (email, web, social), events and sponsorships, strategic partnerships, communications, and PR
    • Supporting the sales teams with content & tool creation, analysis & targeting and training
    • Ensuring the consistency of the brand across all Kastle companies and business units
  • Develops and executes strategies that achieve annual sales and profit goals
  • Plans and executes industry events, tradeshows and the annual sales conference working locally and with our locations across the country.
  • Provides senior marketing support services for corporate marketing, sales, and executive teams.
  • Manages marketing budget & aligns it to the marketing calendar, ensuring effective/efficient use.
  • Analyzes & evaluates marketing strategies to determine current and predict future effectiveness
  • Develops, drafts, and updates corporate materials, collateral, and broadcast email tools.
  • Directs multiple forms of content including presentations, emails, invites and advertisements.
  • Responsible for proofreading, editing, and correcting important communication documents.
  • Maintains and continually builds upon marketing databases. 
  • Supports lead generation programs and activities.
  • Responsible for company promotional items and assists with branding consistency efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5-8 years marketing experience showing growth in marketing roles.
  • Experience with Marketing Automation & CRM Tools, HubSpot & Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
  • Experience in B2B marketing preferred.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple programs simultaneously
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Must pass the Drug Test, Background Check, and any pre-employment tests as applicable
  • Required to obtain and be able to maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state(s) which they are working
  • Acute attention to detail & deadline-driven, with strong organizational & project management skills
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, creative design, and online email tools (e.g. Adobe Suite).
