Job Description

Mutual Security Services a Kastle Systems company is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Manager & Designer to provide consultation and design services in the New York City area. This position will work closely with our Director of Fire Technology, Sales Team, Installation Team, and Clients to ensure a sound design and seamless installation and commissioning of our Fire Solutions


  • Perform standard fire detection design layouts and CAD drawings
  • Project manager and coordinate installations for assigned projects.
  • Provide support, guidance, and expertise to the sales team
  • Perform customer service tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and meeting with clients at job sites.
  • Perform field surveys, fire protection system inspections, and acceptance testing.
  • Review A/E drawings for conformance with model, NYC Fire Code, local and NFPA Standards.
  • Research model and codes as well as nationally recognized standards to assist in the sale, design, and installation of Fire Prevention Solutions
  • Other duties as assigned.

        Travel will be required within our established service area


  • Nicet Level 11
  • Proficient in NYC Fire Code
  • Knowledge of NYC Fire procedures, filing and requirements. 
  • Knowledge of NFPA72 Code Requirements.
  • Fire Alarm Engineering and Design to include riser and wiring diagrams
  • Project Management experience
  • Fire Alarm Sales experience
  • A  current S-98 Certificate of Fitness for Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, Testing and Service Technician a plus.
