The Systems Consultant is responsible for systems additions in buildings that Kastle Systems serves for commercial and government tenant sales. Systems Consultants typically focus on sales that exceed $200 in Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR).  The Systems Consultant works closely with Client Services, Project Management, and Engineers in order to generate proposals and relevant attachments, schedule upgrade installation, and input contracts into CRM tracking software. This position could require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Research the market as required to determine potential sales leads.
  • Call on potential customers to determine their security needs.
  • Visit sites and design systems that best suit clients’ needs.
  • Conduct tours of Kastle’s facilities for potential customers.
  • Prepare proposals (including pricing) as required and close sales.
  • Keep abreast of competitor’s activities.
  • Maintain both automated and manual filing systems.
  • Assists Project Management in coordination of service and installation of products sold.
  • Receives leads and sales requests from Client Services and Account Managers.
  • Inputs quotes, contracts and closed sales proposals into CRM software

Qualifications

College degree preferred, however, comparable professional and/or Kastle experience will be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated outstanding sales skills to commercial clients at the executive level
  • Outstanding writing and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Excellent personal computer skills including a working knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, contract management, and e-mail programs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to perform a physical survey of commercial premises such as construction sites, parking garages, office building public spaces, tenant spaces and roofs.
  • Neat, professional appearance.
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre-employment screening process including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
  • Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements for security.
  • Must be able to meet client background and suitability screening when required to access client’s data and/or site.
