Based upon Kastle’s growth in the market, we are seeking a Vice President, Installations, responsible for managing the Project Management and Installation teams. This comprises of managers, staff and technicians (both Kastle employees & subs) performing installation activities for security & video systems to deliver exceptional customer service. This individual interacts directly with the client, client representatives, other contractors and Kastle personnel to ensure a successful installation. The Vice President, Installations will be responsible for a multi-million-dollar P&L  and in addition to day-to-day management to achieve targeted metrics, must also determine new innovative ways for service delivery, service efficiencies, improved installation margins. The role will also be responsible for our regional warehouse and procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision and fulfillment of sales orders
  • Responsible for managing and meeting customer Service Level agreements (SLA) and ensuring that installations are project managed, scheduled and completed in a timely basis.
  • Ensure that all installs are according to specs and the expectations of our clients.
  • Track and measure workload, employee efficiency, installation quality, and manage work schedules to ensure proper coverage
  • Generate and review reports and other tools to help identify and measure recurring issues, department productivity, on-time installations and workloads.
  • Examine workflows to improve productivity
  • Manage the P&L of the department and identify ways to improve margins.
  • Communicate with other departments and management to report results, findings and identify improvements in service delivery and processes.
  • Responsible for inventory used by the department, and interact with the warehouse to ensure proper stock levels for required service parts.
  • Responsible for company vans & maintenance/management of costs associated with company vans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years supervisory experience in management positions
  • 5+ years of experience managing a P&L and business with field technicians and services. Ideally this would be in or related to the construction industry and/or in the alarm, access control, CCTV and Networking
  • Strong knowledge of & experience with Access Control, Security & Video/CCTV systems, and IP technology is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to hold self and his/her team accountable for results by establishing clear roles, and responsibilities.
  • Proven planning and organization skills in a dynamic and high-pressure work environment
  • Strong P&L experience with an organization of $10M+
  • Previous experience managing sub-contractors
  • Experience with and managing warehouse procurement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation communications skills
  • Highly developed analytical skills and proven ability to conduct root cause analysis.
